This Week's Giveaway: A Mother and Child Apron Set from Lootz Designs
This fresh Apron line by Lootz Designs was inspired when designer Gina Cook became a mom. "My daughters and I spend hours together in the kitchen, having fun creating both tasty treats and extraordinary messes - it was beneath a pile of paper towels that my inspiration for this line was born."

Lootz Aprons keep hands, both big and little, clean as you go - when finished with your next batch of chocolate chip cookies, simply remove the velcro tea towel panel and throw it in the wash. These aprons are designed for the modern family: stylish, functional and made with the environment in mind. With this patent-pending design, you can now spend less time cleaning up messes and more time creating memories.

I had an opportunity to try out one of Gina's aprons and I really loved the tear away velcro tea towel panel design. I've always tried to hold off washing my aprons for as long as possible to limit the wear and tear on them. I've also felt that it seemed wasteful to wash a whole entire apron when only the front got dirty. So to be able to just tear off the towel and throw it in the wash is genius.

I also love the simplicity of the pattern and design as well as the feel of the fabric. Gina's aprons are also well made and beautifully detailed without getting fussy. She obviously had sophistication and style in mind when designing her aprons as they still project a look of professionalism while still possessing a sense of fashion and flare.
